berating me for not voting. You don’t even know who I would have voted for! If I liked either of the candidates, I would have voted for them. I don’t, and I didn’t. The lesser of two evils does not exist, and I’m not going to compromise my principles because I think one…
Not voting is just really edgy and hip.
This blows my mind, people complain about their government but then don’t go out and do the one thing they can to change it. Even if voting doesn’t work in your favor, at least you can say that you tried. There are so many people around the world who don’t have a single say in their government, who are constantly oppressed and WISH they had the opportunity to vote, but lazy, ignorant Americans continue to be…lazy and ignorant.
And don’t vote for the issues if you don’t know anything about them, but you can still take the effort to vote for the officials on the ballot.
totally agreed, nina. also, dave: there is such a thing as a write-in. so write in yourself if you want, but at least you exercised your right.
I have the right to choose. I made a choice. Let’s go back to posting pictures of cats.
But only because somewhere along the line people voted for you to have the right to choose. How can you not like State Representative for District 92, Debbie Philips?? She rules!
